Dress for Success Dublin Equal Pay Day Event

Equal Pay Day Panel Discussion: Register to Attend Now!

Posted on Posted in Equal Pay Day

We’re designating 10th November as Equal Pay Day, the day on which women in Ireland effectively stop earning for the year – relative to men – because of the gender pay gap of 14 per cent.

Another way of looking at this is that women will work for free from 10th November until the end of the year.

Free Panel Discussion

To mark Equal Pay Day, we’re holding a public panel discussion at the Project Arts Centre in Dublin’s Temple Bar.

Running from 8.30am to 10am, the discussion will be chaired by our founder, Sonya Lennon.  She will be joined by a small number of special guests –  well-known figures from the media, politics and business – to discuss the issues contributing to the gender pay gap and what can be done to address them.

This event is free to attend, but places are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.  You can register to attend here.

We will be announcing further details of the line-up for this event very soon, so watch this space!
