As many of you know, here at Dress for Success Dublin, we run an annual Equal Pay campaign to highlight the gender pay gap and related issues.

Arising from this, we’ve been working with Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee to explore how best to promote workplace equality through legislative measures and political support.

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve now established a cross-party parliamentary group on workplace equality, chaired by Senator Clifford-Lee.

The first meeting of the group took place in April, and our second meeting is taking place this afternoon.

Over the coming months, we’ll be undertaking research on international best practice in relation to workplace equality and running a number of events to increase political awareness of the gender pay gap and related issues.  We’ll keep you posted!
