Yesterday (15.11.17), Dress for Success Dublin delivered a political briefing in Leinster House on the gender pay gap in Ireland and the policy and legislative measures needed to address it. The briefing took place as part of Dress for Success Dublin’s month-long Equal Pay campaign. Throughout the month of November, Dress for Success Dublin is raising awareness of the issue, as well as raising funds to support more women back into work.
The briefing was a huge success with a great turnout and excellent discussion from the attendees on the Equal Pay dilemmas and issues facing men and women today:
“The #EqualPay campaign is not about divisions; it’s about bringing everyone together and working for a better work environment for all.” (Sonya Lennon, Founder of Dress for Success Dublin.)
A huge thank you to everyone that came to the briefing and to Fiona O’Loughlin TD and Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee for hosting us!
