Oracle and Dress for Success collaborate to launch ‘Mentor for Success’ Programme

On Wednesday, 25th September we launched the 2020 ‘Mentor for Success’ programme at Oracle headquarters in Dublin.

‘Mentor for Success’ is a bespoke programme that involves Oracle employees mentoring Dress for Success Dublin clients to provide them with skills, support and confidence in their job search. The mentoring programme will run for six months – from October 2019 to March 2020.

Dress for Success founder, Sonya Lennon launched the programme alongside Oracle Mentor4Success Programme Leader, Sinead Holmes and Oracle Ireland Women Leadership Network Chairperson, Daniela Becker.

Speaking at the launch Sonya said: “Business and the economy can no longer remain separate from society, and the power we have as individuals to make real change cannot be underestimated.”

This is the second year of the ‘Mentor for Success’ programme. Through last year’s very successful programme, 11 of the 12 participants secured employment within the six months of the programme.

The launch of the 2020 programme took place as part of Oracle’s ‘Phenomenal Woman Day’, an initiative of the Oracle Women’s Leadership network.  The Day promotes the visibility and contribution of women to Oracle’s business and in wider society.

This is a six-month programme, with mentorship meetings taking place once a month. If you’re searching for a job and would like to participate in the programme you can contact us via email info@dressforsuccessdublin.org or by phone on 01 640 0001.
