Dress for Success Dublin will hold a political briefing for TDs and Senators in the AV Room of Leinster House tomorrow, Wednesday, 15th November, at 4pm.
The briefing will be delivered by Sonya Lennon, designer, tech entrepreneur and founder of Dress for Success Dublin.
The event is being hosted by Fiona O’Loughlin TD and Senator Lorraine Clifford-Lee, and is open to all TDs and Senators to attend.
The focus of the briefing will be on the gender pay gap in Ireland, and the policy and legislative measures needed to address this.
The event is taking place as part of Dress for Success Dublin’s month-long Equal Pay campaign: the organisation designated 10th November as Ireland’s Equal Pay Day, the day on which women effectively stopped earning relative to men due to the current gender pay gap. Throughout November, Dress for Success Dublin is raising awareness of this issue, as well as raising funds to support more women back to work.
